Package Mac apps in your browser.
Straight into Munki.

Build and customize a .pkg in the browser and write it right into your Munki repo — or just download it. No Makefile, no CLI, no Mac build server. Signing & notarization there when you need it, optional when you don't.

One question (optional) — where do you actually get stuck today?

No spam. We'll email once when there's something real to try.

Thanks — you're on the list. We'll reach out at the address you gave when there's something to try. Want to help shape it? A 15-min chat about your packaging workflow would mean a lot — just reply whenever we email you.

The packaging tax nobody should still be paying

You just want an app on your Macs. Instead you get:

munki-pkg — powerful, but it's a CLI and a JSON build spec. Great if you live in Terminal; a wall if you don't.
Composer — locked to Jamf, snapshot cruft, and a reputation for flaky, bloated packages.
Signing & notarization — when you need it (MDM push, distribution), it means a Mac, a Developer ID cert, notarytool, stapling. The step most people fumble.
Deploy — build lives in one tool, your fleet in another. You glue them together by hand, every time, every version.

How PkgPilot works

Drop in an app. Get a clean package into your repo — or in your hands.

01 · BUILD

Author in the browser

Drag in an app, DMG, or existing pkg. Add scripts, choose install location, tweak it — see every file and receipt before you ship. No CLI, no Makefile, no snapshots.

02 · SIGN optional

Sign & notarize when you need it

Munki installs unsigned just fine — so signing stays optional. When you do need it (MDM push, distribution), sign & notarize with your own Developer ID, which never leaves your control.

03 · SHIP

Straight into Munki — or download

Write the .pkg + pkginfo into your Munki repo (S3, R2, or self-hosted) and rebuild catalogs automatically. Or just download it and import anywhere.

Who it's for

Mac admins and MSPs managing ~20 to a few thousand Macs on Munki or an MDM, who don't have — or don't want — a dedicated packaging expert wiring up Makefiles and build boxes. If you've ever wished making and shipping a pkg were as simple as the Luggage, but without the terminal, this is for you.
